luke anthony borg,

I still haven't found out what it means when it says channel is locked etc. I have never ever come across this before. I am trying to find more information on this issue, I would assume it would be either a software related issue or a conflict with something else trying to access the TV tuner at the same time.

Thanks Jason. Just about what my weekend checking, rechecking and filtering exercises came to.

Monitored SC10 and SC TEN almost religiously and could see no difference, so went with SC10. Not bothered with One as I'm not a sporty and zapped WIN HD as the (oztivo) EPG I use doesnt cover it. The rule-of-thumb I used is that if there is an oztivo EPG feed for the channel then I've kept it, but if not then I've put it on the back burner.

Thanks again! :) Mat

In Isaacs i get 19 Services. However, these include services such as ‘SC10′ & ‘SC TEN’.I’m trying to optimise stuff so that there is no duplication of eqivalent services; if SC10 and “SC TEN” are same same then i only need one.So, how do I find out what the difference is between SC10 and SC TEN (IE. Technical & programming)? Can I also assume that programming on SBS HD is the same as SBS?So I should go with SBS HD…Kind RegardsMat

From what i can tell the SC10 and SCTEN channels are mostly the same content (they may vary slightly) One HD is all sport and a unique channel.

Prime Canberra, 7two and Prime HD can be kept, but prime view 1 and prime view 3 you don't need as they are the same as the main prime Canberra channel.

The ABC channels again a are mixed bunch, I tend to keep ABC1, ABC HD and ABC3 and get rid of the other ones.
SBS is also mostly the same across the channels.

Win, GO and WIN HD can be kept (sometimes the main WIN channel and the WIN HD channel are the same but at least 50% of the time they are different) The main channel and the HD versions of the same channel are normally the same just one is SD and the other is HD of course.

It would come down to actually checking the similar channels every few hours to see if the same channels actually have the same content or if it is different..
